History
Since the inception of Integrity Media in the early 1980’s, the leadership received numerous global requests for worship leadership training. As a response to these requests, the leadership of Integrity Media decided to establish what is now known as Integrity Worship Institute.
Throughout most of the 1990’s Integrity Worship Institute (then called Worship International) conducted worship leadership training events in the United States and throughout the world.
In 1997 Integrity’s leadership began discussions concerning the development of a concentrated curriculum in worship study that would be offered through Christian educational institutions, as well as through a certificate program. The Integrity Worship Institute was created in 1998 as a strategic answer for high quality and biblically faithful worship leader training. Cross-denominational and Christ-centered, IWI remains committed to providing pastors, worship leaders, and worship team members with biblical truths and practical tools from a world-class team of proven instructors and Integrity Music artists.
From 1998 to the present, IWI has trained thousands of church leaders and musicians both in the United States and around the world, at the following venues:
IWI has successfully hosted international worship training in the nations of Brazil, Armenia, Cyprus, Russia, Taiwan, Jordan, Italy, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, and the United Kingdom.
At these IWI courses, church leadership from many other countries have attended. Those countries include: Algeria, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Canada, Chile, China, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Egypt, Georgia, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Korea, Malaysia, Morocco, Nagorno-Karabakh, Nicaragua, Oman, Philippines, Portugal, Sudan, South Africa, Spain, Syria, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Zambia.
