Trinity Western University (TWU), offers a quality, balanced curriculum for worship leaders, pastors, and worship team members which will equip you to lead your congregation into life-changing worship.The Executive Certificate consists of four 3 hour courses, available at undergraduate or graduate level, which are fully accredited and can be applied to your TWU degree program or transferred to the post-secondary institution of your choice.

(Students seeking accreditation will receive a formal university transcript for these courses which can be used for transfer to other universities, seminaries, and Bible colleges at the discretion of the receiving school.)

This study proposes that Christian worship is guided by a ” protocol”  a pathway designed by the Lord Himself to insure that believers can make their way safely into His presence. The content invites worshipers to consider 4 biblical steps into God’s presence: thanksgiving, praise, worship, and glory. This is a must-have course for anyone embarking on the journey of worship ministry.

Psalms for Worship: Timeless Insights for Worship Leadership – 3 credit hours

NEXT TERM BEGINS FEBRUARY 22, 2012

Dr. Pete Sanchez, Dean of the Integrity Worship Institute, will introduce you to the insights of the biblical Psalms. Topics include: the background of the psalms; the beauty of Hebrew poetry; types of psalms; theological themes and concepts; images and titles of God; praying the psalms today; and how the Psalms practically enrich the worship life.

Towards a Theology of Worship – 3 credit hours

Dr Pete Sanchez guides pastors and worship leaders through the challenging process of discovering, developing, and implementing a shared philosophy of worship, both in the local church and in their music ministries.

Part I helps leaders ask and answer the strategic questions related to biblical worship. Part II guides leaders in carefully crafting and effectively communicating a worship philosophy to their churches and with their musicians.

Teambuilding: Learning to Celebrate Our Differences - 3 credit hours

CLASS AVAILABLE FEBRUARY 22, 2012

Utilizing the DISC Personality Profile, students will be introduced to the characteristics and intra-relationships of four (4) distinct but different personality styles dominant (D), influencing (I), stable (S), and conscientious (C). Each will complete a personal DISC personal profile, analyze the results, discover their unique personality style, and learn how to better work with the personality styles of those around them. This study will also help students differentiate between human personality (hard-wiring) and biblical spiritual gifts (sovereign and supernatural). Finally, students will learn how to effectively apply the insights of the DISC to their worship setting by analyzing and resolving actual case studies.

This course features Dr. Sandy Kulkin, the President of The Institute for Motivational Living, Inc., CEO of PeopleKeys, Inc., Director of Creative Corporate Consulting, Ltd. and Chairman of the Board for The Bair Foundation as well as Dr. Pete Sanchez, Jr, the Dean of the Integrity Worship Institute.
